A little history:
Deborah made national news last year when she spoke at a protest and directed her comments toward two well known terrorists who were scheduled to speak at the event. Deborah Pauly said that she “knew a few marines who could help them get to an early meeting in paradise” while protesting their event (These are the radical speakers that Deborah was brave enough to speak out against publicly http://youtu.be/is29KAIHXfA ). You can imagine how that went over, and Deborah received vicious attacks from CAIR as well as death threats from Muslims
And she stood her ground——after all the lies and misrepresentations.
Now Deborah needs our help. Look what the republican party has done!!! I’m horrified, disgusted , and committed to helping Deborah fight back against them and CAIR. I don’t want to be a part of ANYONE/ANYTHING that is endorsed by CAIR, and now CAIR is thanking the Republican Party for unseating Deborah Pauly??

The response form Torie & The Tilted Kilt was actually quite surprising and refreshing. In all honesty, it doesn’t usually go down like this. I am used to recieving responses about diversity and BS like that. Torie & the Tiled Kilt did not make an attempt to justify their post about Mohammad.
Businesses don’t usually go as far as to admit and attempt to rectify a mistake , and people don’t usually come back with an apology and claim of responsibility for their actions.
I accept the apology of the Tilted Kilt and Torie, and see no reason to boycott.
To the Tilted Kilt & Torie, thanks for making a right out of a VERY wrong.
At the end of the day, more awareness was brought to Islam, and that is a good thing.

Hi Melanie. Please do not blame the Tilted Kilt for the statement that offended you. It was purely my fault. I run the page, and I found a quote off a website that I liked. I did not realize who I was quoting and would never mean to offend. I did my job without attention to detail. I cut and pasted the quote without looking at the author. Not smart? Absolutely not smart. Intentional? No way. Please don’t blame the Tilted Kilt brand for my blunder. We are so appreciative of those serving and who have served or lost their lives doing so. It’s personal to me as well, I have family and friends who are serving or have in the past. We simply meant to thank, and I messed up. I hope that you can understand it was an honest mistake and I have definitely learned my lesson here. If we can earn back your patronage we would be truly grateful, and again it was purely my fault and not the fault of the Tilted Kilt.

The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) recently listed Best Buy as a “Platinum Sponsor.” Best Buy has refused to rule out future support for CAIR through numerous messages to its public relations department.
The United States government named CAIR an “unindicted co-conspirator” to fund the terrorist group Hamas in America’s most significant terror financing trial. The U.S. also identified CAIR as an agent of the Muslim Brotherhood, sharing the common goal of dismantling American institutions and turning the U.S. into a Sharia-compliant, Islamic state through incremental, stealth jihad.

I’m a vocal person…a boycotter by nature. I think it’s in my blood. I started my first petition when I was 15, and addressed the city for the need for a skateboard park. I wasn’t a skater, just a sympathizer to the cute boys who kept getting kicked out of the grocery store parking lots. I remember thinking, even then, that a large number of signatures would surely persuade the City Council to build something that was necessary to so many!! We didn’t get the park, but it was the first of my long list of public grievances and rallying people together.
In my opinion, the best way to show your appreciation for good customer service is to repeatedly patronize a business and tell all your friends about them. The best way to show your displeasure…is to un-patronize a business, and let them know why. Then tell everyone you can think of. If others feel the same, a company can then take a look at its customer base and decide whether or not to adjust its policies according to the consumers wishes. The company can also decide that the consumers wishes are irrelevant and keep the current policies.
A few on the recent boycott agenda has been “Boycott TLC for the New Program ‘All American Muslim’ “ and “Boycott HBO until they fire Bill Maher for Tebow Tweets” Facebook is a fantastic tool to get others on board and petition the collective agenda to any given corporation. The boycott TLC proved to be most successful. Ratings went down the tubes and their true agenda was exposed. All-American Muslim has been tanked from the TLC line-up. A lot of people participated, and The Florida Family Association has a great format for mass emailing that was used by everyone!

In a nutshell, BEST BUY was actually was a PLATINUM Sponsor for CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) at one of their events. (More on them in another post)
Worth mentioning is that I got a lot of backlash for the Bill Maher boycott, more than any other boycott at least. I had been subjected to facebook rants accusing me of attempting to “censor free speech”. In the eyes of some, my right to free speech is not the equivalent of Bill Maher’s. I wholeheartedly think the concept of Free Speech is misunderstood by more than a few….a boycott does not attempt to censor free speech at all, merely voice your grievances in a way that gets attention.
The First Amendment to the United States Constitution goes a little something like this:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
The first word being “Congress” is an indication of where people are misunderstanding the nature of a boycott from upset consumers to private company, HBO. Congress (Government) censorship of Bill Maher would be a violation of free speech. Private Citizens exorcising their freedom of speech rights to vocalize their disparagement to HBO is a different story. Remember the foolish Congressman Ted Lieu ? He threatened legislative action to Lowe’s for taking their private ad money off the Islamic propaganda show. (He didn’t get anywhere, he is an inexperienced congressman who does anything for attention. I would be the first in line to defend Bill Maher’s Constitutional right to publicly insult Tim Tebow and Jesus. As hard as it would be to do so, I would defend his right until I am blue in the face. I would never be in favor of a law prohibiting hurt feelings. The day that happens we will be living in a much different society. To be clear, we are getting close – The OIC (Organization of the Islamic Conference) is doing this now —petitioning our government to make it a crime to criticize Islam. THAT would be a free speech violation, and disastrous for this country. CAIR is notoriously filing complaints to stop free speech against Islam. As outspoken as I am against all things Islamic…that would be disastrous for me as well should this ever come to fruition.
Our right to free speech is our most valued possession. It is the backbone of our country. It must always stay intact. We must fight to keep that protection even against words that make our blood boil. It does not, however, mean we have to remain silent and protect only free speech of others – and it means I can boycott until a pink moon appears.
I will be posting boycotts of ANY company that is furthering the Islamic Agenda.
A few days ago I received an email from a friend in the counter-jihad movement who enlightened me to the fact that Tuesday. April 17th, Tariq Ramadan, grandson of the founder of the muslim brotherhood would be speaking at the Embassy Suites in Anaheim on Sharia & the Constitution. Alarming to say the very least.

I got loud, and ran my mouth all over online — I posted all the the protest info…and lo and behold, two members of the United States Defense League (USDL) http://www.usdl.info/ from NORTH CAROLINA offered to fly in for the event! THAT is dedication. Everyone seems to have an excuse anymore of why they can’t/won’t protest…local people. And here they flew in just for a few hours! I picked up Renee & Libby at LAX, and we got to know each other quickly in rush hour traffic as we headed to the Embassy.
Few people knew this at the time, but we had a group of hard-hitting undercover activists inside the event.

Outside, we were creating a stir…talking to people on the street, asking them “Did you know that the Muslim Brotherhood is meeting in that hotel, RIGHT NOW?” We gave them an earful and had some great responses. Some people just ignored us. One lady said it didn’t matter she was from Australia… “Hate to break it to you lady, but you’ve got the same problem in Australia!” She looked confused, and then went about crossing the street.
We passed out a whole lot of flyers and pamphlets to educate on WHY this is really bad (in simple terms).
What a great group of educators there were out there! Renee & Libby from the United States Defense League (USDL) pictured with Michael Gerardi…Temecula freedom fighter, always outspoken & very articulate man. Michael spent a lot of time “preaching” loudly the atrocities of Islam there on the corner.
We had a great location, and we had people on both corners…so you couldn’t enter or exit the hotel without seeing/hearing us. We got honks & waves, and we got a few fingers…one fool even rolled down his window and yelled “Go Hamas!” to which I responded loudly “Did you say GO HAMAS?” and raised my camera and he says “I uh said, uh no hamas” Right. These are the people who are putting on the face of kindness and peaceful Islam ….
Then, something really upsetting happened. A family walked by with a girl in a hajab. The family walked straight by and did not engage with us at all. The father was consoling the girl who sobbing due to our protest. That hurt. That hurt bad. For a moment I felt what they were thinking. I felt hateful. I felt like I was doing something wrong….for a moment. I so badly want to run after her and tell her we were not against her, and more than anything I’d like to rip that hijab off her head and set her free….it is those times you have to think about the greater good. And the greater good means, when she rebels on her own, as Teenage American-Muslim , I will have done my part to ensure that honor-murdering is never condoned in this country. That her beautiful face is never scarred from acid for talking to a boy at school, curling her hair, or wearing lip-gloss. If we don’t speak out loudly against Islam, eventually, that will be considered normal here as it is everywhere else… and I want to know I did everything possible that a girl like that has the opportunity and RIGHT to live as a truly F R E E American. Period. That little girl, and all the other little girls deserve it.
Inside the event the muslim & muslim sympathizers were instructed to not engage with the “radicals” outside. (They were taking notice of us!)After all, they were trying to appear peaceful and non-worrisome to the public.
Finally it was time to take Renee & her “Momma” Libby back to LAX — They spent a total of 7 hours in California. What a great commitment they have to FREEDOM & exposing Islam’s true agenda. Seeing as they had never been to Ca before, we did make a quick trip to the legendary In-N-Out on the way home (what kind of host would I be if I let them re-board without the great & powerful animal style double double?)
At the end of the day, I wonder what we accomplished. We made a whole lot of noise online and raised a LOT of awareness to this horrid “event” We let terrorists and stealth jihadis KNOW that we aren’t going to sit down and take this.We let these monsters know that we will show up wherever they show up—- so have your meetings and expect resistance. Expect exposure. Expect a lot more to come.
